The company is about providing value for shareholders. Bellhaven has rapidly acquired an impressive portfolio of mineral opportunities and quickly moved them on the fast track to development. Currently, there are US$25 million worth of joint venture deals in the portfolio (almost twice the market cap). The highly prospective Cerro Chorcha Property was acquired in September 2006 for US$600,000 and 2.6 million shares---Bellhaven recently completed a joint venture agreement with Empire Minerals Corp. for US$21 million on the property. The Los Hatillos Property was recently joint ventured to Golden Cross Resources for an additional 4 million over the next five years. That's 29 million in investment capital! Bellhaven's Cerro Chorcha copper-gold porphyry deposit, boasts an NI 43-101 compliant resource of 1.4 billion pounds copper and 255,000 ounces of gold---and that is just the beginning. Drawn by the prospective nature of the deposit, Empire Minerals Corp. (OTC : EMPL) has completed a definitive joint venture agreement on the property for US$21 million. Over the next three years Empire will expend a total of 15 million in work and exploration expenditures (that's a lot of drilling) and paid Bellhaven a total of US$6 million in cash and stock. The drill program, which is currently under way, is testing new targets developed by Bellhaven's aggressive exploration program. We have already begun announcing results which have caught the attention of the industry--114 meters of over 2% Cu, .43 g/t gold, and 11.3 g/t silver in the first hole and 124.9 meters of 1.32% Copper in hole two! The completion of this drill program will most certainly define an historical benchmark for Bellhaven Copper & Gold. When finished at Cerro Chorcha, the drills will be moved to Bellhaven's Rio Liri property to test a newly discovered stock-work feeder zone for additional gold mineralization. This too promises to be exciting and prospective.
